This past Saturday, a beloved sister and friend underwent a major cancer surgery.  Thanks to God, the surgeon and team, with God in the midst, were able to remove the mass.  I praise God for giving her the countenance, strength, courage, sense of humor, and all the other tools she needs for she is in great hands.  Thank God for her parents (it was an honor meeting them) and all else.  Thank God for her life.  God is faithful and I agree with her statement just awhile ago, “Thank God I’m alive!” He sure knows best and no matter the circumstances that surround us, He is in control and there is a blessed hope/assurance in claiming as well as continuing to experience just how good He is even if it is just as touching a tip of an iceberg.  I was blessed just about less than 10 minutes ago after praying with her over the phone, I was led to a confirmation too…!  Sister, I thank God for you and believe He will see you through this storm and will continue to use you mightily for His glory!! Keep praying and do not give up for as you and I know, He will never give up on you~

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

This is a great book, which I am thankful points us right back to Jesus and His Word…It is about learning the importance of relationship with God and people from God Himself, the expert and only.

Check it out…enjoy!

Mark 12

[29] Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is:  Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.

[30] And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  This is the first commandment.

[31] And the second, like it, is this:  ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no other commandment greater than these.”

The “Awakening” Conference at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in Southern California has come and gone yesterday, Saturday11October2008, but one thing remains—the word of God for Peter shared with us:

1 Peter 1

{22} Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

{23} having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

{24} because

“All flesh is as grass,

And all the glory of man as the

  flower of the grass.

The grass withers,

And its flower falls away,

{25} But the word of the LORD

  endures forever.”

Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Hebrews 11

{6} But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2 Timothy 1

{7} For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 2

{4} No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

The Bible is rich beyond measure and many treats to share—I pray we would be as the Acts 17 church, for instance:

Acts 17

{11} These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

Praise God for being the author and finisher of our faith for we are yet under construction and very much in need of our Savior always…

There is satisfaction in dwelling in His house forever and as Scott Cunningham would sing, “…to hear You say, well done.”  Praise the LORD for using His faithful servants in setting up the event.  We had music in the morning and afternoon by The House and Scott Cunningham, respectively.  Featured speakers were Pastor Brian Brodersen, Mark Cahill, Ray Comfort, Emeal (E.Z.) Zwayne, and Charlie Campbell.  Seriously, you should have been there! However, no worries for there are media modes [The Chapel Store at 714-540-2941] and God’s timing.

We do have a tremendous and blessed responsibility as believers in Jesus Christ because knowing Him ought to give us the intense desire to share Him.  He is our Messiah, Redeemer and Prince of Peace.  He is committed to help us and see us into the light in this dark and miserable world.  There is hope in the name of Jesus!

Being that we may personally know or are aware of people who are lost, I pray for the continual burning desire to reach out and touch people as His hands and feet for the clock is ticking and these are the last days…

There are wake up calls all around us and I pray we would not push the snooze button as one of the speakers has wisely stated for today is the day of salvation and no one is promised the next breath! IF we were to die today as believer in Jesus Christ, I perceive we would all find ourselves in the presence of our heavenly Father, but for the rest, do we care enough to do something so that they too will join us?

So, dear one, I pray we would not give up, but keep pressing on as Paul has exhorted us in the ultimate mission (keeping in mind, “…If God is for us, who can be against us?”—Romans 8:31 and “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”—Romans 8:1):

Matthew 28

{18} And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

{19} Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

{20} teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Amen.

I pray we would desire to serve in the love of Christ “’Til the whole world hears” because “…life is what I (we) do with Your time.”

Elohim, my Creator, has given me the opportunity to enjoy the words/music He’s given and continues to give to His tool, Anadara.  I am blessed that He chooses to share her…and now as I listen to “Fill Me Up,” I pray, Jesus, please fill me up.  Anadara, I thank God for you and praise Him as I thank you for your obedience to His leading…may He continue to amaze you with His grace as you continue to scoot “A Little Closer” to our Abba Father.  God is using you for such a time as this and I thank Him for using the lyrics and reasons behind it to meet me in the room He’s given me even right now…Lord, we are Yours, You are ours, and we are One all thanks to Your agape love! We glorify Your holy name in worship.

Deuteronomy 5:33

You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
