As I was listening to God’s word (Ephesians 6:16-17a) via pastor Matt Kottman, I am reminded that faith is not merely knowing the word of God but trusting and believing the word of God.  It has been said and as I continue to experience, faith never puts a question mark where God has placed a full stop or a period.  Oh, how we direly need to live that life of faith with one another! Faith in the Lord and His promises bring confidence and assurance because I know and continue to experience His faithfulness moment by moment.  I thank God for the shield of faith which has already determined my victory—not victory in myself but in Christ Jesus.  The Lord keeps me going come what may.  Through it all, I see His majesty and may we never lower His shield of faith by becoming self-confident! Surely, my confidence remains in God alone!!

Here is a song from and to the Lover of my soul:

“….take up the cross—and follow Jesus—take up the cross—everyday.  Don’t be ashamed—to say that you love Him—Count the cost, take up the cross, and follow Him…”

As we continue to press on in Christ, I hope this will minister to you as well.  I truly believe His word never returns void:

2 Corinthians 4:16

Therefore we do not lose heart.  Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Romans 8

[15] For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba Father.”

[18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Amen? Amen!! You see, I find myself humming this precious song (I may not have the lyric correct to par) that speaks truth to my daily adventures of faith with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.  Believe ye me, I would not trade any of the steps taken the Trinity for anything and this also reminds me of another song our Daddy leads me to sing to Him in awe, which I will also share:

[1] “…I have a Father who will never fail me—I will follow Him, I will follow Him.  I have a Father who will never fail—His faithfulness is forevermore, His faithfulness is forevermore…”

[2] “…You are the love of my life—You are the hope that I cling to—You mean more than this world to me—I wouldn’t trade You for silver or gold—I wouldn’t trade You for riches untold—You are, You are my everything…”

How about two more? He never fails to give me songs in the night and even during the day! Psalm 42:8 The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me—A prayer to the God of my life.

[3] “…I have decided to follow Jesus—I have decided to follow Jesus—I have decided, to follow Jesus—No turning back, no turning back…though none go with me, still I will follow—Though none go with me, still I will follow—Though none go with me, still I will follow—No turning back, no turning back…”

[4] “…I love, I love—I love Your presence—I love, I love—I love Your presence—I love, I love—I love You Jesus—I love, I love—I love Your presence…”

Continue to abide in Him as He in you! Grace be with you as we stand perfect and complete in the will of God.  Amen.  (Colossians 4:12, 18 )

To be in Your presence

To be in Your presence
To sit at Your feet,
Where Your love surrounds me,
And makes me complete.

This is my desire, O Lord,
This is my desire.
This is my desire, O Lord,
This is my desire.

To rest in Your presence,
Not rushing away;
To cherish each moment,
Here I would stay.

In His presence is where I long to rest.

Hearing this song on this morning of

Vendredi23janvier2009, I could not

Ask for more but to thank my Lord and

Savior for being my everything…God

bless you!!

Psalm 121:8 The LORD will watch over

your coming and going both now and

You are the love of my life

You are the hope that I cling to

You mean more than this world to me

I wouldn’t trade You for silver or gold

I wouldn’t trade You for riches untold

You are, You are my everything

(Repeat stanza)

I wouldn’t take one step without You

I could never go on

I couldn’t live one day without You

I don’t have the strength to make it on my own

(Repeat stanza)

Until the world stops turning

Until the stars fade from the sky

Until the sun stops striving

I need You in my life

And here’s the reason why!

(Repeat stanza)

The LORD is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

I have the LORD and He comes first in every decision.  My soul, do not be cast down, look to Jesus come what may! Eternity matters most over temporary gains.  The past, present and future belongs to Him.  Do not look to the right nor left…SERIOUSLY look to Jesus and praise Him for the things seen and unseen for God is faithful and do not forget that!!

Is it not interesting how certain things matter to us when we are in that particular situation? I find it outstanding just how the good Shepherd knows how to meet us where we are.  I do not think we are prone to drink milk forever.  Therefore, as we grow in Him and as He continues to lead us, we continue to grow.  One of the keys to seeing Him and He/people seeing Him in us occurs when we trust Him, obey Him totally, and desire purity that could be achieved with His help alone (John 9:7).

Although a kid under construction, I thank God for never giving up on me.  Even now as I seek Him and His peace regarding every step in the life He has given me, I pray to continue to plead for His mercy, grace, wisdom, love, faithfulness, loyalty, companionship, understanding, knowledge, fervency, zeal, and most especially, the power—Holy Ghost so that I could be able to take a leap of faith whenever wherever He ushers me. Daddy, continue to mold me into who I am meant to be because I would be lost without You.  I surrender all to You.

LORD, please help me to turn all doubts to trust.  Please, Adonai—I need You desperately and depend on You for every breath.  I know I fall short and do not know what tomorrow holds.  I am so glad that You will do the rest if I just yield—help me to always let go.  Please continue to speak to me and I pray Your love would overcome the fear of the unknown because I know You will lead me…Yeshua, I believe in You and choose to place my trust in You knowing that You will complete that which You have began.  All I need is You.

You are the only One strong enough to hold me up.  My LORD and God, I wait on You with faith because I know You are ever with me.  You will not leave me half-baked, but will see me through—You will surely carry me home.  I praise You for helping me to live a life of absolute surrender for Your glory because I know I cannot stand on my own.  I need You to hold me up so that I could keep walking with You.  Thank You for times of communion with You…You have my heart, life…all for You, my Love, Lord and King.  All for You forever, Savior—You are the reason I live moment by moment.

The fear of the LORD is the

    beginning of wisdom;

A good understanding have all

    those who do His

His praise endures forever.

Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said:  “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

No matter the task or mountain before you today, remember, the LORD sees, hears and knows.  Thus be comforted no matter the circumstance surrounding you and keep walking in His light for He makes all things beautiful in His time and He is worthy!

What makes you fall to your

Knees and pray?

What leads you to the point

Of throwing your hands up

In the air?

A Point of absolute surrender?

I pray we bow down all the way to Christ Jesus

In total obedience!

While physically weak,

Yet I will rejoice in the

God of my salvation as

God continues to remind

Me that in my weakness

He is strong

And His strength is made

Perfect in my weakness! 🙂

Very awesome, right? Yes, please

 And praise the LORD for

Being the positive impetus

That reminds us of the

Future and hope that we

Have in Him!
