My Beloved, I know I am Yours.

Forgive me for ever questioning You.

For better or worse You remain faithful.

I look to You alone to help

Me to make most of EVERY moment

With You.

I am thankful NOTHING will ever

Separate me from Your love.

No, not even death nor past chains

And at the end of the day,

It is You and I

Hand in hand FOREVERMORE.

I may not understand all but

I choose You—I choose to REST

In You especially since I KNOW

You CHOSE me first.

You consume me—and I know I am Yours

My Faithful LOVE.

Romans 8:37-39

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  |For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, |nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This song lyric (I am currently listening to Matt Redman being used to usher me to His throne of grace) of rings true! God is SO good and continues to meet me wherever I am.  I cannot fully express my gratitude and words are not enough.  God bless and keep you as you enjoy this with me.  Psalm 62 – He my Everything…It’s all about Jesus!!!

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here I am
Once again
I pour out my heart
For I know that you hear
Every cry
You are listening
No matter what state
My heart is in
You are faithful to answer
With words that are true
And a hope that is real
As I feel your touch
You bring a freedom
To all that’s within
In the safety of this place
I’m longing to
Pout out my heart
To say that I love You
Pour out my heart
To say that I need You
Pour out my heart
To say that I’m thankful
Pour out my heart
To say that You’re wonderful
Listening to this song reminds me of my Mama…I thank God she is now with Him for almost 6 years now.  Sweet mother, je t’aime!
Sweet Mother by Prince Nico Mbarga, 1976
Sweet mother I no go forget you
for the suffer wey you suffer for me.
Sweet mother I no go forget you
for the suffer wey you suffer for me.
When I dey cry, my mother go carry me–she go say,
my pikin [1] wetin you dey cry ye, ye,
stop stop, stop stop make you no cry again oh.”
When I won sleep, my mother go pet me,
she go lie me well well for bed,
she cover me cloth, sing me to sleep,
“sleep sleep my pikin oh.”
When I dey hungry, my mother go run up and down.
she go find me something when I go chop [2] oh.
Sweet mother I no go forget you for the suffer wey you suffer for me
When I dey sick, my mother go cry, cry, cry,
she go say instead when I go die make she die.
O, she go beg God,
“God help me, God help, my pikin oh.”
If I no sleep, my mother no go sleep,
if I no chop, my mother no go chop, she no dey tire oh.
Sweet mother I no go forget you,
for the suffer wey you suffer for me.
You fit get another wife, you fit get another husband,
but you fit get another mother? No!
And if I forget you, therefore I forget my life and the air I breathe.
And then on to you men, forget, verily, forget your mother,
for if you forget your mother you’ve lost your life.
There’s no need to say a thing when I’m before You.
In this silence I feel refreshed with peace.
Break this noise that binds the voice that tries to speak.
Open my eyes to see Your gracious, sovereign reach.
~CHORUS~
It’s hard to talk when I feel that You are near,
When all is quiet it’s the beauty that I hear.
This hidden place where I know that You’ve calmed my fears.
I know that You’ve washed my tears.
The seasons of change I’ve faced have never left me wounded.
Only scars of hurt, but never deeply rooted.
This healing I have felt, no burden can replace.
Redemptive hope has been the story of my pain.
~CHORUS~
It’s hard to talk when I feel that You are near,
When all is quiet it’s the beauty that I hear.
This hidden place where I know that You’ve calmed my fears.
I know that You’ve washed my tears.
All is lost without the breath of life You give, and You give so much.
I want nothing more than You, so here’s my heart
~CHORUS~
It’s hard to talk when I feel that You are near,
When all is quiet it’s the beauty that I hear.
This hidden place where I know that You’ve calmed my fears.
I know that You’ve washed my tears.
[Hebrews 7:25] Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
The above is a precious promise because He remains even in the darkest hours.  He is faithful, unchanging and His love never fails! He reaches out and welcomes any who receives the free gift which was not cheap at all in return. Amazing grace!!
Will you make this your prayer as well? Betty Scott Stam prayed the below and as Elisabeth Elliot shared is, “…of irrevocable commitment and consecration…”:
“Lord, I give up all my own plans and purposes, all my own desires and hopes, and accept Thy will for my life.  I give myself, my life, my all, utterly to Thee to be Thine forever.  Fill me and seal me with Thy Holy Spirit.  Use me as Thou wilt, send me where Thou wilt, work out Thy whole will in my life at any cost, now and forever.”
I enjoyed listening to this song earlier today and I make it my prayer!
Jami Smith – Salt and Light
You make me want to be like You
Your holiness I will pursue
I want the heart of Jesus
Show me the meaning of Your grace
I want to give the world a taste
Of the love of Jesus
Make me salt
Make me light
Let Your holy fire ignite
Reveal Your glory in my life
I am not ashamed
To lift up Your holy name
Make me salt
Make me light
As a city on a hill
A lamp on a stand
Mold me in Your image
The work of Your hand
——————————
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth:  but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be
As I was listening and meditating on this song in Christ, I could not help but think of Isaiah 53 for He, Jesus Christ, suffered much innocently on our behalf and I thank God for loving us so very even while we were in sin – He loved us SO very much to give His only Son as an atonement for our Sin.  Praise God for salvation that is offered freely to all who will to accept that precious and priceless gift.  I pray we would desire to earnestly know Jesus more and more!!
Do you know that God has consecrated you for Himself? Rejoice because He is serving through you…He will take you through.  No matter where you are, yes even as you read this, He is ever close to you encouraging you to trust Him because He’s got it in control and you have absolutely NOTHING to worry about!
Ephesians 1
[4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
[5] Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:  for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Will I be able to stand up for that which
I believe come what may?
Am I willing to leave myself vulnerable?
Holy Spirit, help me to be faithful…
Teach me how to weep and love as You.
Lord, whatever You want, may it be done!
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold
in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them
that trust in him.
