Not sure who the author is but I thank God for it and would love to share it with you too! 🙂

It’s in the Valley We Grow

Sometimes life seems hard to bear

Full of sorrow, trouble and woe

It’s then we have to remember

That it’s in the valleys we grow.

If we always stayed on the mountain top

And never experienced pain,

We would never appreciate God’s love

And would be living in vain.

We have so much to learn

And our growth is very slow,

Sometimes we need the mountain tops,

But it’s in the valleys we grow.

We do not always understand

Why things happen as they do,

But I am very sure of one thing.

My Lord will see me through.

The little valleys are nothing

When we picture Christ on the cross

He went through the valley of death;

His victory was Satan’s loss.

Forgive me Lord, for complaining

When I’m feeling so very low.

Just give me a gentle reminder

That it’s in the valleys I grow.

Continue to strengthen me, Lord

And use my life each day

To share your love with others

And help them find their way.

Thank you for the valleys, Lord

For this one thing I know

The mountain tops are glorious

But it’s in the valleys I grow!

Psalm 23

[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

[2] He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

[3] He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort.

Dear God,

I too sing along with Bryan Duncan in praying to love you with my life—the life You have given me.

O, Lord
Hear these prayers I pray,
Dear God

Jesus, here I pray
On my knees before You
I live for You today
Because I do adore You
I will not be afraid
Only watch and pray
To see Your glad return

I’ll put my trust in You
‘Til my life is completed
Do all as unto You
Believing all You’ve stated
I want to live in peace
In spite of tribulation
Until You come again

Please know that I love You
I’ll stay by Your side
Worship You in spirit
Oh, Lord, be my guide
Don’t let me suffer long
‘Cause You have suffered for me
I love You with my life

Please know that I love You
I’ll stay by Your side
Worship You in spirit
Oh, Lord, be my guide
I will not suffer long
For You have suffered for me
I love You with my life

I love You with my life
I love You with my life
I love You with my life
Don’t You know that I love You
Love You with my life

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

Refrain

I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

Refrain

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;
O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

GALATIANS 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower:  the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

I cannot share enough about His name and I pray to never cease proclaiming it!!! You see, this is not my first time reading the above verse but just as I read it again today, His Word continues to bring solidifying affirmation that true and true the name of the LORD is a strong tower for me and whenever I run into it, I will find refuge and assured security.  I pray the same over you and myself included that whenever perplexed or just mere uncertain, run to the throne first then the phone if absolutely necessary.  I pray to converse with my Daddy as well as listen to Him, laying all entanglements and convoluting challenges at His feet…at the foot of the cross while simultaneously trusting Him to continue to take care of it all making the best decisions—decisions I could not humanly do for myself or anyone else for that matter.  I pray to continue to let go and let God do WHATSOEVER He pleases because I know and know and know that my Father knows best.  Today and always, may we find refuge, strength, security, and satisfaction in Christ alone, our strong tower!!!

The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall never want.  Why? He is all that matters and all I need.  He is not only the God of today but remains the same yesterday, today and forever.  Therefore I pray Jehovah-raah’s hand over you this day and forevermore!

As pastor David Rosales of Calvary Chapel was used by God to exhort me, I too pray we will continue to die daily, take up our cross, and follow Jesus—ministry flows from life touched by Jesus and He has touched mine—.  Indeed it is not easy but with Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit all things are possible! Being right with Jesus makes all things well and I would love to see you in heaven too!

Psalm 71

[5] For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

[8] Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
